RESEARCH PROJECTS

Apart from our participation in the international Project HORTIS, The Wesley Centre for Hyperbaric Medicine is committed to conducting other quality research to advance the field of hyperbaric medicine. Recently we were granted ethics approval for a pilot study looking at the effects of hyperbaric oxygen on patients with vascular dementia, this study is in cooperation with faculty from the University of Queensland and the physicians from the Wesley Hospital.
